Our Core Privacy Promise: 100% In-Browser Processing

Your images are never uploaded to our servers. Every pixel analysis, color sampling, loupe rendering, and dominant palette extraction runs entirely locally within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your pictures stay on your device at all times.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Because ImageColorPickerOnline is built as a client-side web application, our architecture is specifically designed to eliminate data harvesting:

  • No Image Uploads: Photos, graphics, logos, or screenshots you drop or paste into the tool are processed in local volatile RAM and are never transmitted across the network.
  • No Color Logging: We do not log, store, or profile the HEX, RGB, or HSL color values you pick.
  • No User Accounts: You do not need an account, email address, password, or profile to access all features.

2. Local Browser Storage

When you pick colors, your recent color history is maintained in temporary browser session memory for your convenience. This allows you to review previously sampled colors and click "Copy CSS". This data is stored strictly within your browser and is never synced to external databases.

3. Server Log Files & Analytics

Like virtually all standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure may collect standard, non-personally identifiable server access logs (such as IP addresses, browser user agent strings, referring pages, and access timestamps). This technical data is used solely to:

  • Maintain server uptime and security
  • Prevent denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Monitor global network performance and page delivery speed

4. Cookies & Third-Party Scripts

ImageColorPickerOnline does not utilize intrusive cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information to third-party ad networks or data brokers.

5. GDPR and CCPA Compliance

Under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users possess rights regarding personal data:

  • Right to Know & Access: Because we do not store personal profiles or user sessions, we hold no user dossiers.
  • Right to Deletion: Simply closing your browser tab or clearing browser cache permanently removes all locally cached images and history.
  • No Sale of Data: We never sell personal information.

6. Children's Privacy

Our tool is safe for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
